Ouch, My Aching Back!

It is estimated that about 80 per cent of adults experience low back pain at some point in their lifetimes.[1] There can be many different causes for low back pain, so you should always seek medical attention to determine the cause, since treatment for low back pain varies depending on what is causing your pain. If you have been to the doctor and it has been determined that your pain is due to weakness in the lower back, this video demonstrates five simple exercises you can do every day to strengthen your lower back. It is important to do them consistently every day because studies show that this achieves better results than just doing them sporadically. It is also important to remember that even if your pain goes away after doing these exercises for a few weeks, you must continue to do them, or those muscles will become weak again, and you’ll be right back where you started.
