You are here to enable the divine purpose of the universe to unfold. That is how important you are!”
These inspired words from Eckhart Tolle touched my heart this week. I truly believe that each and every one of us is here for a divine purpose. There is a special work for each of us to do. Do you know what yours is? If so, are you doing that work each day? If not, are you searching each day to find your purpose? I believe the work we were meant to do will not only fulfill us, it will also serve our fellow man in some way. We are spiritual beings having a physical experience, and we are here to learn all we can to be the best that we can be. As part of that process, we are to help others to be the best they can be. We are here to encourage and support one another because no one can make it alone. In chapter 4 of the book of Esther, we learn the story of how Queen Esther helped save her people from destruction. At first, she was afraid. Then her cousin, Mordecai, asked her this simple question, “who knoweth whether thou art come to the kingdom for such a time as this?” This gave her the encouragement she needed to do what she had to do. Just like Queen Esther, you are where you are for a reason. There are people for you to serve and lessons for you to learn in the process. Someone needs what you have to give right now. Never forget: YOU are divine, and YOU are important!
Luke 6:38 says,
Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.”
In other words, live each day with purpose and with a servant’s heart, and you will find joy and abundance all along your way.
