Get action. Do things; be sane; don’t fritter away your time; create, act, take a place wherever you are and be somebody; get action.”
This is a quote I really love by Teddy Roosevelt. I watched a documentary on his life and learned that his father would tell his children to “get action,” so he grew up being encouraged to go, be, and do. What a marvelous idea! I believe the quality of our lives is dependent upon whether or not we choose to act or to be acted upon. When we make up our minds to act, we get to choose the direction of our lives. Now, granted, we don’t always choose wisely, but so what, we learn a lesson and make a new choice to get back on track. I am so grateful for this knowledge and for the gift of being able to choose my course each day. What are you choosing each day? I echo President Roosevelt’s words, “Get action!” Choose the direction of your life every day. Choose to have a purpose and to live life on your own terms. Bradley Whitford said, “Infuse your life with action. Don’t wait for it to happen. Make it happen. Make your own future. Make your own hope. Make your own love. And whatever your beliefs, honor your creator, not by passively waiting for grace to come down from on high, but by doing what you can to make grace happen….yourself, right now, right down here on Earth.” I wish for you to have a life filled with an abundance of all that the universe has to offer, and you will, if you choose it. Namaste’.
